We have numerous volunteers who donate their time to help sort clothes, be a personal shopper, prepare items for pick-up, as well as light housekeeping ---ALL that make the Foster Closet successful.
We could never be where we are today without our fabulous volunteers!
How can you help?
Help in the Storefront as a shopping volunteer. You will assist families with their shopping experience. (All persons working with families and children will have a background check. Shopping assistants will complete a minimum of 10 hours of organizing, sorting, and general upkeep of the closet before working with families as a shopping assistant.
Business contact. (connecting with and visiting businesses for sponsorship/donations)
Administrative Assistant (various duties, working with volunteers and co-founder to coordinate day to day operations)
Return phone calls
Social Media/Media contact (work with Media head for social media contact, print and tv media outreach)
Fundraising organization (help with our annual fundraising event in the fall, oversee fundraising events and drives)
Volunteer coordinator (organize and facilitate times for volunteers to sort and organize donations)
Earn Community Service Hours by volunteering or having a "drive"
Have a Specific *drive (diapers, wipes, new toys, new clothes, socks, underwear etc.) We will email you our specific list once you submit our volunteer form.
Volunteer: Weekly, Monthly or Weekends (you pick your schedule)
